Working hard

7pm  Jacob has been working hard all day with his recovery. The nurses are amazing keeping his pain under control. He has had some moments where he acts like himself by reaching and looking but for now they are short. Swelling is coming on now, tomorrow it will peak. Each day brings us closer and closer to having this all behind us.

    Stay strong, this is all within reach for you all! Almost there! Its not even the calm before the storm...the storm is now passing and will be behind you shortly. Deep breaths! As marts said, you got this one!

    You are SO close to have that last hurdle (swelling) behind you! So very close! Keep up the strength Monica and James! You are doing a wonderful job as parents. And Jacob...I have some special songs lined up for you when you get home! Keep on healing and resting my little prince!
